Japanese OEMs are an important part of that growth and to continuously keep our customer’s confidence in Visteon’s ability to deliver high-quality innovative products, you will be in your position of Product Delivery Program leader a key to enabling a long-term relationship.
Reporting to a specific Product Delivery Customer Lead, you will lead a direct team in Japan of Program managers driving cross-functional program teams in a global matrix environment, with End-to-End execution ownership and accountability of your programs.
Responsibilities
About your Role
You will be responsible of all aspects of Program Delivery execution for a couple programs on a specific customer, aligned with QCDDM commitment, from business opportunity Pursuit to Launch and up to Service of parts.
You will have to leverage your communication, people, and program management skills to drive a multi-discipline and global matrix organization to achieve this goal, at the same time as developing customer intimacy with your counterparts.
Your Key accountability
Program Execution: Drive the execution of new product launch programs, ensuring they meet project schedules, budget goals, customer expectations and ensure process compliance.
Performance Monitoring: Track program metrics and regularly update senior management on progress, achievements, and areas needing attention.
Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor a team of leaders responsible for program launches, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and internal team to ensure program success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Risk Management: Through engagement with cross-functional discipline teams (Engineering, Purchasing, manufacturing, quality, supply chain & finance), enable a robust execution plan by proactively identifying major program risks with mitigation plans; and implementing quick resolution once issues are escalated.
Requirements
What you need to succeed in your role
- A Master’s degree in engineering, science or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of Automotive Experience, with 3 years at a Tier1 in the last 10 years, and exposure to Electronics products.
- Leadership experience in Engineering / Program Launch Execution Experience for at least 3 years, with some direct customer engagement and a proven track record of successfully managing programs from business award to launch.
- Leadership and managerial skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and guide cross-functional teams toward successful outcomes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keen analytical and strategic mindset and problem-solving skills to apprehend problems, with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Business Acumen with a curiosity mindset to guide teams through program execution challenges but also opportunities.
- Business level language skill both in Japanese to interact with your customer and English to drive the global Visteon team.
What would be good for you to have
- Experience in Cockpit Electronics, as similar to Visteon product portfolio
- Experience with hardware and software-based products both in development and production environments.

Bonus system
Bi Annually, June and December fixed bonus of 3 months base / Annual Performance bonus in March
