Responsibilities
Contribute to ongoing codebase improvements alongside feature work, raising quality incrementally rather than in big-bang efforts.
Build new product features end-to-end in React and TypeScript, from technical design through to deployment.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver features that are fast, maintainable, and accessible.
Stay current with the frontend ecosystem—bring well-reasoned recommendations for tools, patterns, or approaches that could improve how the team works.
Requirements
5+ years of React and TypeScript experience. You've shipped production features with both, have experience with modern React and are comfortable with TypeScript.
You can work across a large codebase without getting lost—understanding unfamiliar code quickly, making targeted changes, and avoiding regressions.
Proven ability to drop into complex codebases and contribute meaningful improvements quickly.
Demonstrated experience implementing accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
Understands the benefits and limitations of AI coding tools
Nice to Haves:
While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.
Accessibility experience. You've audited a UI against WCAG criteria.
Experience building or maintaining a component library or design system used by multiple teams.
Familiarity with modern React ecosystem tools like TanStack Query/Form, Zod, Zustand and Vite.
