Mandatory Expectation:

The Guest Engineer will be stationed at HONDA AMO like Honda Resident engineer and will be responsible for all the new / current model projects engineering delivery. He will be acting as SPOC / Interface between HONDA AMO team and Visteon India Development team.

## Responsibilities

Key Objectives of this Role:

  * Launch of new products consistent with customer requirements

  * Single point of contact for Program & cascade customer requirements to Project Team

  * Accountable for Program profit and loss

  * Accountable for negotiating the scope of new business with customer

  * Lead and manage delivery, resource planning, launch coordination, change control, Project Part Tracker, and single point of contact for customer

  * Identify potential issues in advance and coordinate mitigation action

  * Accountable for profitability improvement through control of design changes

  * Lead communication with customer during program launch

  * Leading gateway reviews as part of program management

  * Experience in automotive product life cycle

  * Experience in SW project deliveries, product launch, design, purchasing, supplier quality, Program Management skills

  * Experience with different customers (OEM's)

  * Manage Cross – Functional Team

  * Create customer-focused strategies and value propositions

  * Possess fundamental product knowledge

  * Internal communication of program / business risk and status

  * Should have Good Knowledge about Clusters, Infotainment and Cockpit domine controllers

## Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or similar.

  * Business level Japanese Language Proficiency

  * 10-15 year work experience.

  * Experience in project management incl. budget responsibility.

  * Deep knowledge of automotive Development- and Production processes

  * Customer focus, good communicator, team player, self-motivation, proactive and ability to lead a team are desirable soft skills.

  * Knowledge of vehicle systems / SW /HW architecture.

## Working hours

9:00 - 17:45

## Bonus system

Bi Annually, June and December fixed bonus of 3 months base / Annual Performance bonus in March

## Overtime

Eligible when Non Management Grade level
